Privacy Policy

Our Core Promise: We Collect No Information

At 10minutes.email, privacy isn't just a feature; it's the entire purpose of our existence. We have designed our service to operationally ensure that we cannot collect information about you.

1. Zero Personal Data Collection

When you visit 10minutes.email, we do not ask for, collect, or store any personal information.

  • No Registration: We do not have user accounts, usernames, or passwords.
  • No Email Addresses: We do not ask for your real email address.
  • No Phone Numbers: We never ask for your phone number.
  • No Payment Info: Our service is free. We never ask for credit card details.

2. No Logs Policy

We operate on a strict no-logs basis. We do not store historical records of:

  • Your IP Address: We do not log visitor IP addresses.
  • Your Activity: We do not track which emails you read or click on.
  • Your Metadata: We do not store browser user agents or device identifiers.

3. How Our "Memory" Works

To make the service function, we use Local Storage on your device. This is a small file that lives on your computer, not our servers.

We use Local Storage solely to:

  • Remember your current active temporary email address (so it doesn't disappear if you refresh the page).
  • Store your theme preference (Dark/Light mode).
  • Track your "XP" and "Badges" for the gamification elements.

If you clear your browser cookies/cache, this data is instantly and permanently verified deleted. We have no copy of it.

4. Email Content Security

The emails sent to your temporary address are stored in volatile memory (RAM) on our servers for the duration of your session (default: 10 minutes).

  • Automatic Deletion: Once the timer hits zero or you click "Delete Inbox", the emails are permanently wiped.
  • No Archives: We do not keep backups of expired emails. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.

5. Third-Party Services

We adhere to a strict policy of minimizing third-party tracking.

  • No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixels that track you across the web.
  • Adult Content: We strictly prohibit and filter adult content to ensure a safe environment for all users.

6. Your Rights (CCPA & GDPR)

Since we do not collect personal data, we have nothing to sell, disclose, or delete upon request—because we don't have it in the first place.

If you are a user located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have rights to access/delete your data. In our case, you exercise these rights simply by closing this tab or clicking "Delete Inbox." That is the extent of the data we hold.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children because we do not collect personal information from anyone.
